Information paper in accordance with art. 13, D.lgs 196/03 – Privacy Code

Thank-you for providing us with your personal data. We would like to inform you on the purpose and the way that we are going to handle this information.

Scope
We will use your data to allow you to take advantage of the services/products offered by BHAKTI YOGA COLLEGE.

How we use your data.
We handle your data manually and file it in our hard copy files. We insert this information into our computer system where we file it with all other data related to our school and to all the services rendered to you during the past years. We keep these documents for ten years, as prescribed by the Civil Code, unless, before such period, you decide to leave us or our school closes. In this case you must request a hard copy of your documents and the deletion of such documents from our automated files. We would like to emphasize that, even if you do not request it, your information will be “frozen” and not used for any reason. Such data will be deleted upon expiration, by Law, of the terms for reviewing of any pending issues that are referred to it.

Mandatory Nature
All information requested is mandatory.

Consequences in case of refusal to provide the data
In case of your denial to submit your necessary data to accomplish the above requirements, we will not be able to comply with fiscal and administrative laws. We will not be responsible for consequent monetary, administrative and penal sanctions, nor for revocations of authorizations and/or licenses released by the proper offices.
Who will be receiving the personal data
Personal data will be released to:
• CSB personnel. They are responsible and appointed to handle and manage all paperwork related to this contract. Personnel have been properly trained on safeguarding of personal data and privacy rights.
• Banks for payment transitions.
• Accounting officer and other related personnel that maintain accountable information for proper reporting in accordance with the fiscal law.
• Government officials tasked with the duty of verifying and reviewing our records for accomplishment of bookkeeping and fiscal payments in accordance with the law.
It will be forbidden to release any of your info to anyone not concerned with the services or products requested by you.

Rights of the person involved
In relation to the treatment of personal data, and in accordance with art. 7 (right to access to personal data and other rights) of the Privacy Code, the releaser has the right to
1. Obtain confirmation on the existence of personal data related to him/her, even before registration, and to obtain this data in a readable format.
2. Obtain the following information:
a. the origin of the personal data
b. purpose and mode of use
c. logic applied in case of handling through electronic devices
d. identification of the owner, of the responsible personnel and of the representative designated in accordance with art. 5, comma 2
e. identification of personnel or categories that could be provided with this data or can obtain it as representatives designated by the government.
3.The person involved has the right to obtain:
a. update, rectification or integration of the data, if so desired
b. cancellation, anonymous transformation or freezing of the information used in violation of the law, including the one kept unnecessarily for purposes other that the ones for which the data has been obtained and later used
c. documentation that the operations above (see a & b) have been made known to those to whom the data have been communicated or released, except when this becomes impossible or requires a use of excessive means.
4. The person involved has the right to be opposed:
a. for legitimate reasons, to the handling of his/her personal data even if pertaining to the purpose for collection
b. handling of his/her data for the mailing of commercial material, direct sales, or questionnaires or commercial communication.
